what are the rules?

We're not big on lots of rules, but there are some basic ones we insist on to maximize the benefits of speed dating for everyone:

1. To participate in our speeddating events:

• you must be aged between 25 and 60
• you must be single

2. Women move and men stay seated at our events (research shows this improves the number of matches).

3. You may not give out contact information during a speed date event.

4. We do not want you to tell anyone your last name while at one of our speed dating events.

5. Do not ask where your date lives or works or tell your date where you live or work (beyond your suburb and the industry you work in).

6. Indicate on your MatchCard immediately after each date whether you'd like to see them again.

7. Don't let any of your dates know whether or not you chose them.

8. Please don't skip a table - it’s impolite to walk off during the session.

9. You can’t change your matches after they've been given to the host.

10. Commit to contacting the person if there's a mutual match.

• If you are running late on the night, call Quick Connections on 0414 675 673.

• Please let us know if you can’t make an event!  Imbalanced numbers due to 'no-shows' can spoil the event. By not attending and not notifying us, you will forfeit payment and not be invited to attend future events.

• We'll send you a reminder the day prior to the event. If you can't make it, please let us know as soon as you possibly can.
